Jewish Family Service of Lancaster is partnering with Congregations Shaarai Shomayim and Degel Israel and Temple Beth El to launch a new initiative that will benefit the Lancaster Community, and more specifically, the Lancaster County Council of Churches’ Clothing Bank for Career Link and the PA Work-wear Program, making business attire available to those in need.
 
The name of our project is “Take A Suit to Shul .” We’re asking that clean suits that are no longer being worn, be brought to one of the synagogues September 2-9, 2018.  The suits will then be made available to Lancaster residents who need dress attire for return to the workplace.

The suits will be picked up from each synagogue on September13 and delivered to the Lancaster County Council of Churches. Please contact the synagogue office where you will deliver your suits for details.
