Sandra Valdez
Sandra Valdez is a dedicated leader and passionate advocate for social justice, known for her unwavering commitment to uplifting marginalized communities and addressing systemic inequities. As a key leader at the Spanish American Civic Association (SACA), she has spearheaded numerous initiatives aimed at combating food insecurity, expanding educational and economic opportunities, and advancing equity for underserved populations. Her visionary leadership has strengthened SACA’s role as a vital force for community empowerment across the region.

One of Sandra’s most impactful achievements is her leadership of SACA’s Community Meals Program, which provides thousands of hot, nutritious meals each year to individuals and families facing food insecurity. Under her guidance, the program has significantly expanded its reach, ensuring access to nourishment, dignity, and stability for those in need. Beyond hunger relief, Sandra’s work encompasses a wide range of programs that promote economic independence, from workforce development and financial literacy to housing support and behavioral health services. She also brings valuable experience in healthcare, contributing to efforts that address health disparities and connect community members with essential care and services.
